In this pivotal position, you will lead a team of 20+ Technicians across various commercial contract cleaning services. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing warehouse operations, service preparation, training, equipment maintenance, and job closeout. Collaborating closely with our internal Estimator, Quality Control, and Service Manager, as well as engaging with our valued customers, you'll showcase service excellence at every turn. Your Role as Assistant Operations Manager: You'll play a crucial role in orchestrating seamless project execution, ensuring client satisfaction, and cultivating a culture of excellence within our organization. This dynamic position will have you working both in our office, in our warehouse, at vendor locations, as well as visiting customer sites. Your hands-on leadership approach will be instrumental in ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standards and on schedule. Building and nurturing positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, you'll provide timely project updates and address concerns promptly. General Job Description
  • Communication Bridge: • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between Field Technicians, Service Coordinators, Quality Control, and Customers, ensuring a seamless flow of information and collaboration. Project Oversight: • Monitor and maintain project activities, from initiation to completion, ensuring progress, addressing challenges, and occasionally taking on a hands-on supervisory role in the field. Overseeing Warehouse Operations: • Manage the organization and functionality of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, equipment storage, and timely access to resources. Mentorship and Positivity: • Cultivate a consistently positive attitude, serving as a mentor to inspire fellow employees, subordinates, and customers, fostering a culture of teamwork, growth, and mutual respect. Safety Advocacy: • Ensure a safe working environment for all departmental operations, adhering to safety protocols, and fostering a safety-first culture to promote the well-being of team members. Service Efficiency Enhancement: • Provide regular feedback to enhance service delivery efficiency, contributing insights to optimize processes and improve the quality of services for scheduled projects and those undergoing quality control. Service Preparation: • Coordinate the preparation of services, collaborating with Service Coordinators to ensure necessary resources, tools, and materials are available for field teams. Training and Development: • Oversee the training and development of Field Technicians, ensuring they are well-equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and safety practices to perform their tasks effectively. Equipment Maintenance: • Manage a comprehensive equipment maintenance schedule, ensuring that all tools and machinery are in optimal condition for safe and efficient use. • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and replacements, working closely with vendors and technicians to minimize downtime. Job Closeout: • Lead the process of job closeout, ensuring that all tasks are completed to standard, equipment is properly stored, and work areas are restored to their original condition. • Collaborate with Quality Control to conduct final inspections, addressing any outstanding issues, and obtaining client feedback to ensure satisfaction.
 
What You'll Do
  • You will follow a Monday through Friday schedule, with flexibility for occasional weekends as required by project demands. The hours for this role typically span from 1:30pm to 10:30pm. However, please note that this timing may vary based on project scheduling and oversight requirements. Enjoy an annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000, complemented by regular salary increases and performance-based incentives. We recognize and reward your dedication to achieving excellence.

What We’ll Love About You

  • Over 2 years of experience as a project supervisor/lead.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Will have experience managing deadlines and ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Experience using G Suite, Microsoft Office, and task management and time tracking software is a plus.
  • Highly organized and efficient, with strong multitasking skills.
  • Good time management.
